Executive pilates founder and president Rosaly Grunberg is a highly sought-after private Pilates mat instructor in New York City. Rosaly began to offer individualized personal mat Pilates sessions when she realized that most Pilates instructors stayed in front of the room and did the exercises with the rest of the class. Rosaly become conscious that most of the class worked in bad form and did not understand the concepts of correct breathing, body alignment and stabilization.
Besides working with private clients, Executive pilates has studied some of the more stressful-high pressure professions. Working conditions play a large role in determining postural alignment. Employees work eight to ten hours sitting, standing or repeating certain movements in which resulting muscular problems can lead to fatigue, discomfort, pain and possibly immobility. With this in mind, sessions and exercise routines are easily modified for intensity level and to compensate for preexisting conditions.

This class can be incorporated with light weights and a Bosu or Stability Ball.
